Is an epic fantasy series written by David Benioff and Daniel Wise for HPO, a quote from the novel "The Arush," a series of novels by George R. Martin. Most of the episodes are written by Benioff and Louise. Martin also works as an executive producer for the series and writes one episode per season, except Season 5 and 6, in which Martin announces that he has not written a full-time episode to complete the sixth book of the series, Winter Winds. The series was filmed at Belfast Studios and several other locations in Northern Ireland, Malta, Scotland, Croatia, Iceland, the United States and Morocco, and premiered on HBO in the United States on April 17, 2011.
